Here at “ihatecamrydrivers.com” it’s not so much about a personal attack on you if you happen to drive a Camry, it’s more about the way you drive and the fact that you do drive a Camry. Whether it’s to drive to work each day, or mum’s ferrying kids to and from school, grannies and grandpa’s going for a Sunday drive on the freeway, you can be assured that most of you drive Camry’s.
Let’s start with the “Older Generation”
You’ve made the choice because the car is cheap to run, reliable, spacious and has a great parcel shelf to hold the hat, the tissues and still have a roomy back seat to take your friends home from bowls. You have no time for anyone else on the road, just concentrating on keeping the car in between the lines on the road is enough for you. You have one speed, and that’s 50km/h, even in an 80km/h zone. Unless of course, you’re on the freeway where 80km/h is about as much as you can handle, even if you’re in the overtaking lane. Of course, if you do speed, the cops will get you, but you can make that young punk Cop pay as this 71 year old man did.

The ScoreCard!
Next let’s take a look at some of our friends from other ethnic origins.
For you, the car is again, reliable, economical, Made in Japan (or at least designed these days), has almost as much room as Commodore or Falcon, runs on E10 without a problem, but most of all, you can take photos of you in Camry and send it back home to your family who you left behind in country. Because where you came from, owning a Camry is a dream and an upper middle class status symbol. But for anyone else on the road, you’re just downright dangerous. Take a look next time you change lanes. I’m sure we could all go on about this subject for days, but we’ve got a lot of others to get through first. In the meantime, stay out of Eastwood if you want your car and your temper to remain unscathed.
How about Women Drivers?
Well.. that’s a whole ‘nuther story.Owning a Toyota Camry means you like Clay Aiken. So regardless if your female or a male who also likes men, it’s possible you fit into this category. According to a popular automotive blog, the Camry attracts women “that are sweet, level-headed, uncomplicated and undemanding”. Translated = “Boring”. They also go on to say, “She is most likely an office manager at something like a Real Estate Office and always empties out the Vanilla section of her Neopolitan Ice Cream container. Her wardrobe is full of beige pant-suits. She is even tempered, has a Shih-Tzu and loves Clay Aiken.” Again, this equals “Boring”. So if the only excitement you get in life is driving through the Drive Thru at Macca’s for the kids, don’t take it literally like this lady has done.

At least the blokes won't be putting on the lippy..
And the young uns?
There’s the children of the Baby Boomers and Generation X who’ve just got their licence or their Learners Permit and are ready to rumble. It’s a safe bet if you’re a parent of a child who’s just got their drivers licence to buy them a Camry as their first car. These days, you can pick one up for under $5k, that’s pretty much in good condition. And, cause you won’t be buying anything pretty, there’s little chance your kids will be wasting their wages from working at KFC on new rims or a turbo. But, at least they’ll be safe right?
If you are a Camry Driver
Aand you want to be heard, submit your post in our “I’m a Camry Driver” category and tell us why. Having a good driving record is not necessarily going to you win you votes though, so think about what makes a good driver..
Disclaimer
Well.. we’ve covered off some the major types of Camry Drivers and touched on just SOME of the reasons why they’ve fast become the people we love to hate on our roads. Have fun on our Blog and remember that we are just exercising our right to free speech and whilst we personally know many good, safe Camry drivers out there, this is not a personal attack on anyone and should always be taken with a grain or two of salt!
Cheers!
The Team.
